My Bio

Finny Smit is a San Francisco–born skier and runner. She is a competitive mogul skier representing the Netherlands on the European Cup circuit and a varsity cross-country and track athlete at University High School. Her life is shaped by training, travel, and competition at a high level.

Known for her calm focus and steady determination, Finny approaches both sport and academics with discipline and intention. She is intellectually curious and independent, and she is drawn to understanding systems, strategy, and the reasons behind outcomes. Whether she is analyzing a course, planning a race, or following current events, she values preparation and thoughtful decision-making.

With dual Dutch and U.S. citizenship and fluency in Dutch, Finny moves comfortably between cultures. International travel and competition have shaped how she communicates, adapts, and builds relationships across differences.
